Taming the Inner Critic Though Journaling, and Expressive Art
The Inner Critic is that voice that prevents us from being more creative in our life and stops us from taking risks. It can hold us back from showing up fully and being vulnerable. In this creative, fun workshop, we will learn how to recognize our inner critic, bring it into the light, and learn how to play and build a healthy relationship with it. You will use expressive art and journaling to become more creative, bolder, and step into your creative power.
Absolutely no art skill or experience needed. If you can draw stick figures with crayons you got this! Price includes all supplies.
Expressive Art class for Self-Discovery and Expression
The next expressive arts class is scheduled at Studio Ace. This class uses the process outlined in the book, The Artist's Way, by Julia Cameron, but no book is needed for the class.
We will use different mediums for self-discovery, and self-expression, the process can deepen intuition and inner knowing, and you will have fun creating with your inner child!
No artist talent or experience needed. This is about the process of creation, not the outcome. No book needed, and all supplies are provided!

Join this class based on the well known book, "The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity"" by Julia Cameron. This is NOT an art class! No art skill is needed, just an open mind and heart! I will guide you though the book, but I also bring to my classes my own special exercises based on my experience with the expressive arts. I will hold a sacred, safe space for students to open up to the creative, intuitive process. This process can remove emotional blocks, deepen one's self-love and discover inner wisdom and intuition and it is FUN! The class creates an intimate experience and students will have the guidance needed for the process. Sign up will be live soon!

“Denise Rudy is a passionate teacher, artist and poet. She has over twenty years teaching experience as a full-time professor at Palomar College.
“She is a formally trained artist, studying art education in college, but over 10 years ago she discovered the expressive arts and fell in love with the process. She has used her training to become a therapeutic art teacher and coach, teaching expressive arts to develop art as an intuitive spiritual practice.”

The inner child holds enormous power over our thoughts, decisions, and relationships, so it is important to hear their voice. When we have a healthy connection to our inner child, we feel connected to their creativity, inspiration, and excitement. Expressive art can be a tool to connect you with your inner child.
In this safe, supportive workshop, you will open to your creative side and connect to your inner child. No artistic ability is needed at all, just a desire to express the voice of your inner child. All supplies will be included in the workshop.

Join this class based on the well known book, "The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity"" by Julia Cameron. This is NOT an art class! No art skill is needed, just an open mind and heart! I will guide you though the book, but I also brings to the class my own special skills and exercises based on her experience with the expressive arts. I will hold a sacred, safe space for students to open up to the creative process. This process can remove blocks, deepen one's self-love and discover inner wisdom and intuition and it is FUN! . The class is limited to 14 students in order to create an intimate experience and have the guidance needed for the process. The first 6 chapters will be covered in the first class and the second 6 chapters will follow after a break for those wanting to finish the book.
